Sandy Neck allows camping on the front beach in ORV permitted self-contained vehicles, or slide-on truck campers. These vehicles must have a permanently installed gray water and septic tank and they must have a permanent toilet. No cassette or compost toilets are allowed. Campers may be required to pass a beach driving test. We do not allow trailer campers, (pull-behind or fifth wheel).
In addition, we offer a primitive tenting area 3.3 miles from the parking lot, or a lean-to campsite 2.3 miles from the parking lot. You must purchase a permit using the link below and hike yourself and all your equipment to the tent camping area(s).
