The Cape Cod Rail Trail (CCRT) is an off-road paved bike and pedestrian trail currently spanning between the towns of Yarmouth to Wellfleet, with inter-connecting trails throughout. Through regional efforts, construction is scheduled to begin in 2023 to extend the existing trail within Yarmouth to Mary Dunn Road in Barnstable (Phase 3), and the Town of Barnstable is currently examining route options, continuing the trail through the community from Mary Dunn to the Barnstable/Sandwich town line (Phase 4).
Examining potential routes for an extension of the Cape Cod Rail Trail from the intersection of Mary Dunn Road & Independence Drive to the Barnstable/Sandwich town line, the Town of Barnstable is currently seeking public comments.
