Cohort B - Mondays and Tuesdays
Come to the Hyannis Youth & Community Center (HYCC) and hang out after school with friends. The School's Out Afternoon Recreation Program will begin after your child's remote learning concludes for the day. Participants in this program will be required to have a mask/face covering with them. A healthy snack may be provided. We will follow proper safety protocols and adhere to the current social distancing guidelines. This program consists of gym activities, board games, arts and crafts, and homework assistance. Special guests will provide more education/recreational opportunities. Parents at the end of the day will be asked to call in for pick up and staff will bring your child to you. Limited to 39 participants.

Cohort B - Mondays and Tuesdays
Just because you're learning remotely, doesn't mean you have to be alone! Come to the Hyannis Youth and Community Center (HYCC) and learn remotely with friends. All students enrolled in the Remote Learning Center will be dropped off and picked up at the HYCC. This program will provide a safe space and supervision for your child to learn during their remote school days. Participants will be required to bring all necessary school materials for their learning each day, as well as a mask/face covering. Breakfast and lunch will be provided by BPS Food Service. Please bring in a water bottle and snack each day. We will follow proper safety protocols and adhere to the current social distancing guidelines set by Department of Early Education & Care. During non-learning time, we will provide physical/recreational activities/outlets for the children.

Become a Roblox game wiz using Lua! Create versions of your fairytale universe with Roblox. Roblox studio has all the tools to make your wildest gaming imaginations a reality. In this course, you and other passionate kids will learn how to make use of the many tools on Roblox to code terrific games, relaying your imaginative capabilities to the world. By using Lua, you’ll be creating extensions to the Roblox game while fostering your creativity and learning real-world computer coding. A PC or a MAC is required. A CHROMEBOOK WILL NOT WORK FOR THIS CLASS!
