*****EACH PARTICIPANT IS REQUIRED TO SIGN UP FOR THE USFSA MEMBERSHIP. ACTIVITY #605601. MEMBERSHIP DATES ARE JULY 1ST TO JUNE 30TH. THIS IS A ONE TIME SEASONAL REQUIREMENT BASED ON THE MEMBERSHIP DATES.***
If you are interested in learning how to skate this is the class for you! The HYCC Skating School Spring Learn to Skate offers 6 weeks of instructional skating. This is a United States Figure Skating program with certified Instructors. This program is geared towards children that are at least 5 years of age. You must have passed Badge 2 to take this class.
LEARN TO SKATE INFORMATION:
*Figure skates with toe picks are strongly recommended. Rink rental skates are NOT available for participants.
*Gloves and hats should be worn. Also, a heavy sweater or short jacket is recommended for better mobility.
*Helmets are REQUIRED for participants that are 6 years old and under. Helmets are also recommended for beginner level participants (Badge 1 & 2).
*Instructors reserve the right to move a child to the appropriate level class.
*MASKS WILL BE MANDATORY ON THE ICE
